This episode focuses on the Speaking skills. Pupils are going to work in pairs and discuss questions related to friendship. They also need to determine if the phrases used to express opinions are polite or not as there is no right or wrong answers but there are appropriate and inappropriate ways to show understanding. Furthermore, pupils are reminded that it is not about agreeing or disagreeing with someone’s advice, rather it is about being able to explain and justify someone else’s point of view. These activities are based on materials found in English Download B1+ textbook pages 13 and 188. This interactive discussion will be joined by 6 students via Google Meet.
