The lesson focuses on guiding pupils to speak about places of interest by talking to each other about the advantages and disadvantages of the places using proper register as well as responding politely by agreeing and disagreeing with each other. As they speak, pupils are guided to use proper cohesive devices as well as appropriate sentence structures using the prompts given in the textbook. Pupils are also advised to use the words in the textbook while talking about the advantages and disadvantages of the places of interest shown in the textbook. Textbook page 102.
