MUET Paper 2 Speaking tests the test takers on their ability to present ideas in an individual oral presentation and to interact in small groups in both formal and less formal academic contexts. Part 2 in this video is focusing on group discussion. A new situation and a mind map with five ideas is given to all test takers. They are given 3 minutes to prepare their points to support or oppose other test takers' points. They are given 8 to 12 minutes to discuss the topic and to come to a group decision on the best suggestion/opinion/view/solution to the situation. Some examples of useful expressions or linkers that can help to ensure a smooth delivery of ideas for various language functions are given in this video as well.
