Ingredients:
500 gm crabs, cleaned, shells removed, and cut into 2
4 shallots
3 cloves garlic
1 inch ginger
½ tsp Fennel Seeds powder
½ tsp cumin powder
½ tsp mustard seeds
3 tablespoons curry fish powder
1 cup coconut milk
½ cup water
10 Curry leaves
Salt to taste
3 tablespoons oil
Directions
1. First add shallots, garlic, ginger and a bit of water into a blender. Blend until smooth.
2. Heat a bit of oil in a pan and saute the ingredients until fragrant. Then add cumin, fennel seeds, curry powder, a bit of water, curry leaves and mustard seeds. Stir fry until the oil separates.
3. Next, add the crab and mix well.
4. Reduce heat to medium, pour the coconut milk and cover the pot, let it simmer for 5-7 minutes to fully cook the crabs. Finally add salt and stir well.
5. Crab curry is ready to be served.
