Ingredients:

2 sweet potatoes, boiled until tender
1 cup wheat flour
1 teaspoon tapioca flour
salt to taste
oil for frying
100gram sugar
60ml water

Directions

1. First, mash the boiled sweet potatoes until fine. Then add wheat flour, tapioca flour and pinch of salt. Mix well a form a soft dough

2. Then take some dough, shape in roundly and make a small hole in the middle just like a donut.

3. Repeat this step and fry the dough in hot oil until they are cooked.

4. To prepare the sugar, add water and sugar into a pan. Using slightly stronger heat, cook without stirring until it thickens. One thick, turn off the heat, and stir for 10 seconds. After that put in the fried kuih keria while mixing them, until the sugar becomes hard and crunchy.

5. Kuih keria is ready to be served. Try it!
